Dr. Amy M. Brown
Dr. Brown is a Davis native and graduated from UC Davis in 1994 with a BS in exercise physiology. She went on to graduate from UC Berkeley School of Optometry in 1998. Her clinical training focused on keratoconus contact lens fittings, pediatric exams, diabetic ocular health evaluations, ocular pathology, cataract surgery co-management, and LASIK surgery co-management.
Dr. Brown joined Dr. Liebowitz at the County Fair Mall in 1998 and in 2000 they formed a partnership and moved the office to its current location in the Sycamore Pointe Plaza. In 2020 they changed the name of the practice to "Eyes of Woodland Optometry" to reflect our commitment to the community. Dr. Brown is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Sacramento Valley Optometric Society. Dr. Brown believes that the foundation of quality eyecare is a strong doctor-patient relationship. Her professional inspiration is to help her patients achieve their best visual potential and maintain excellent ocular health. |
When not in the office, Dr. Brown enjoys water skiing, horse back riding, and running with the family. She currently resides in Davis with her husband, Don, and two children.
Dr. Ernest B. Chang
Dr. Chang is a native to California where he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Davis. He went in to study optometry at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon where he graduated with honors. During school he completed rotations at sites throughout California studying primary care, ocular disease, diabetic eyecare, surgical comanagent, and vision therapy. His greatest joy in optometry is helping people live life with the best vision they can achieve. In his free time he likes to hike, watch movies, or play video games.

Dr. Kali J. Leonard
Dr. Leonard is originally from the Sacramento area. She graduated from San Diego State in 2002 and earned her doctorate in Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Florida in 2005. Her clinical rotations included training in glaucoma treatment, pediatric care, cataract surgery co-management, and refractive surgery co-management.
Dr. Leonard strives to provide an engaging and comfortable environment where patients can freely discuss concerns about their vision and eye health. She enjoys working with both children and adults. She enjoys the fusion of fashion and vision that optometry offers. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Sacramento Valley Optometric Society. She enjoys spending time with her husband, son, family, and friends. |
